You can set options for capture, image storage settings, and assign hotkeys through the preferences. By adjusting the options to your liking, the convenience of using Capture Plus is doubled.
It's divided into Capture, Save, JPEG Quality, Add-ons, Hotkeys, and Languages. The capture section is the options available when capturing, as shown in the screen above, and each one can have a very different effect. In particular, we will explain the areas where users need to be careful.
-Include mouse cursor: Check if you want to include the mouse on the capture screen. -Auto-save in clipboard: Capture and save to clipboard at the same time. -Minimize during capture & No active after caputre: It is minimized only in the task bar and can be disabled. -Fixed rectangle area size: The window size when capturing (Shift + Ctrl + F) inside the fixed rectangle area. -Editor background: If you think that the default grid check pattern hurts your eyes, you can check the solid color and set it to the desired color.
The save part asks if you want to save the image. While exiting with dozens of capture tabs, you can press the "No to All" button, If you have a lot of screening tasks, you may want to remove this option. And automatically capture the image after capture. If you check the option, images will be saved immediately and automatically captured in the specified folder. And close the tab immediately after autosave. Checking an option saves it and closes the tab automatically.
And the part related to file name, which has been suggested by users quite a lot, has been improved with the greatest care. After capturing or auto saving with the orange border on the screen, the file name part has been added with various options to satisfy many users.
You can change the file name to suit your tastes. The <> contains the date / time and serial number format, and the content outside the <> is the file name. (The serial number is explained after the date part.)
There are several formats, as follows.
[Format used by default is as follows. (Format in .)] YYYY = year, YY = year (two digits) MM = month, M = month (one digit if possible) DD = day, D = day (one digit if possible) HH = hour NN = min SS = seconds C = the time format displayed on your computer (2011-04-13 8:26:17 PM-but you cannot write it as a file name) ZZZ = milliseconds # = Serial number ## = serial number (two digits) ### = serial number (three digits) ########## = serial number (ten digits)
[More comprehensively, you can use (Example of actual use)]
<d-m-y> = 5-6-00 <dd-mm-yy> = 05-06-00 <dddddmmmm yyyy> =Wednesday 13 April 2011 <ddddd> = 2011-04-13 <dddddd> = Wednesday, April 13, 2011 <h_m_s.z> = 1_2_3.4 <hh_mm_ss.zzz> = 01_02_03.004 <t> = 01:02 (Cannot be used as file name) <tt> = 01:02:03 (Cannot be used as file name)
[Time format and serial number can be used together.] <YYYY_MM_DD_##> = 2011_04_13_01
[You can put any file name you like outside <<> and name the file using the <> format.] Capture_<YYYY_MM_DD_##> = Capture_2011_04_13_01 <YYYY_MM_DD_##>_Capture = 2011_04_13_01_Capture
[ can continue to nest. Serial numbers can also be nested.] Year_<YYYY>_Month_<mm>_Capture = Year_2011_Month_04_Capture Serial Number<###>_Serial Number<#> = Serial Number001_Serial Number1 Serial Number<## # # ##> = Serial Number01 1 1 01
[Serial Number] The serial number works differently if you check Auto Save after capturing. If you do not check Auto Save, the serial number is increased by 1 internally every time you capture. This number will be added. For example, if you captured 3 times and named "Image <##>" The file name "Image 03" is specified. If Auto Save is checked, serial number will be charged according to Auto Save Path and duplicate status. For example, if you name the file "Capture _ <##>", It checks if there is a file called "Capture_01". If not, "Capture_01" is saved. If it exists, it checks whether "Capture_02" exists. If there is no "Capture_02", it is saved as "Capture_02". In other words, it keeps checking whether file exists and assigns serial number.
If the serial number format is not in the file name when using the autosave function, the serial number is automatically added to the program It is the same as <YYYY> if the file name is <YYYY#> .
The JPEG quality section can be set to reduce the capacity when saving jpegs. The concept of subsampling allows the image to be stored in a better format. Note that the medium quality 4: 2: 2 is a common default option.
